Hi, we are Scott and Karen Brown, owners of Crooked Creek Griffons.

A brief rundown of how we became WPG fanatics. Scott was surfing the innerwebs one day and came across a little quiz -Find the Perfect Breed of Dog for You. Intrigued, Scott took the quiz. After answering about 30 questions, the answer popped up. The Wirehaired Pointing Griffon isthe perfect dog for you. First question, what is a Wirehaired Pointing Griffon? Scott looked it up. Love at first sight. But what is this breed like. Scott researched and researched and liked everything he read. The one thing that sticks out in Scott's mind from his research and is very important to remember if you are interested in this breed, a bored griffon is a bad griffon. These dogs are active and get bored easily. They will find something to do if they get bored. You've been warned.

When we decided to go ahead and get a pup, they were remarkably hard to find. We finally found one in Arkansas, so made the trip from south of Houston Texas. We were not disappointed and quickly fell head over heels in love with our Elwood (Sir Elwood of Elkins Adorable Chaos).

We knew we wanted another and after acquiring some land for them to be themselves on in East Texas, we acquired Sadie (Duchess Sadie Mae of Oakhampton). The two hit if off immediately and have been best buds since.

We are a semi-retired simple couple enjoying life. We have one daughter that we are very proud of, our favorite son in law, and a wonderful granddaughter. We love our God, our Family, our Friends, our Land, and our critters. We like to enjoy our dogs, garden, Karen is crafty, and Scott is a woodworker, and hunter. We just finished building our house in the last year and are loving every minute of this life.
